The Northern Piatt Challenge

You must be physically able to perform the tasks of the challenge
Firefighters on air must complete the challenge in 8 minutes to pass
Firefighters without air have 6 minutes to complete the challenge
Approved knots and carries must be used in all exercises
Latter must be raised 4 rungs only
Clove hitch must be used to secure the ladder
You must hold tool up by the rope when knots are completed on tool
Failure to correctly complete any exercise results in a 20 sec penalty
Skipping any exercise results in a 40 second penalty
Full PPE must be worn at all times, you must go on air after fan carry
All slats must be fully broken in pallet to be complete
You must pass cone before opening bail on hose and you must hit the target in order to complete the charged line exercise
